The Architecture + Art Summer Design Academy is an exciting hands-on learning experience that combines design creativity, historical perspective, technical excellence, social responsibility and environmental leadership – with plenty of time for bringing your ideas to life. The week-long program offers a curriculum with a variety of studio, seminar and field experiences, extracurricular activities and field trips.  On Campus Activities: Seminars Sketching & Drafting Model Building Guest Lecturers Hands-On Workshops Field Trip to Burlington: Architecture Office Craftman's Workshop Glass Studio Building Tours Students will gain a broader view of the field, develop skills and portfolio materials and be advised on the college application and portfolio-building processes. The A+A Summer Design Academy is open to students who will be high school sophomores, juniors and seniors in the Fall of 2019. The cost per student for this week-long program is $450 and includes tuition, room and board expenses, studio supplies and transportation for field trips. The application deadline is May 10, 2019.
