Visit the Birthplace of ROTC, where we accept challenges and turn them into achievements. You'll discover why Norwich takes you beyond your expectations and brings out your greatest potential.

By attending you will be entered to win one year of free room and board at Norwich University. The winner be announced after our last Admissions event for the year.

Optional Leadership Challenge Experience:

Students interested in exploring the Corps of Cadets lifestyle may choose to add the optional Leadership Challenge Experience to their Open House visit.

The Leadership Challenge Experience begins on Friday, September 25, 2026, with check-in from 9:00–9:30 a.m. This experience allows students to challenge themselves physically.

The Open House on Saturday is free to attend. Students who select the optional Leadership Challenge Experience on Friday will pay a $100 registration fee at the time of registration.

Optional Leadership Challenge Experience
For a $100 fee, do you want to register for our Leadership Challenge Experience on Friday, September 25, 2026? Check in for the Leadership Challenge Experience is 9:00-9:30 a.m. on Friday and includes an overnight stay on campus for the student.

Activities may include our indoor climbing wall, hiking Paine Mountain, participating in the Leadership Reaction Course, a physical fitness test, and drill and ceremony. (Subject to Change)

Cost
Registration for the Leadership Challenge Experience event is $100 and includes meals, lodging, & Norwich gear.

How will you be arriving to campus?*

In order to receive transportation from the Admissions staff to and from the airport:

The student must be traveling alone.
The student’s flight must arrive and depart from the Burlington Vermont airport (BTV).
Students flying alone will be hosted overnight on Friday evening.
The flight arrival time must be between 8 a.m. - 2 p.m. on Friday
The flight departing time must be after 3:00 p.m. on Saturday
Flight information must be submitted at least two weeks prior to the event using the travel form included in your event confirmation email.
