    Interested in getting involved in digital forensics?
    Want to learn how to defend against cyber attacks? At Norwich University’s week-long GenCyber Forensics pre-college program, you will dive deep into the cyber-realm with tools used by police forces around the world through a series of gaming, modeling, and simulation activities. 

    GenCyberForensics@NU features:
    • Learn about the different jobs you can do within forensics.
    • Enjoy hands-on exercises in several tools used for analyzing computers and mobile devices.
    • Follow the breadcrumbs: Including Norwich’s digital detective whodunit! 
    • Experts will present “hot topics” in forensics and facilitate a Q&A.
    • Surprise cyber forensic challenges with prizes awarded to the winners.
    • All participants will be provided with the hardware and software to create their own mobile forensics and security assessment tools which you'll keep at the end of the program!
    Who can apply? Students who will be juniors or seniors in the fall of 2019.

    Why here? Norwich University is a Center of Digital Forensics Excellence designated by the Department of Defense. 

    Free for all participants! GenCyber is funded by a grant from the National Security Agency and National Science Foundation. Tuition, room and board, field trips, and other fees are at no cost to participants. Participants will be required to cover transportation fees.
